I have been having some trouble sleeping.
Maybe its my age, maybe its just that my
mind wont shut down.
So much to do and the clock just ticks away.
Tick, tock, tick , tock.
The girl is ready for bed with her
pink sponge rollers and cat tucked in by her side.
The mouse has found the pea.

I loved this story as a little girl, and I love your representation! Every time I had trouble falling asleep, my grandpa would lift up my mattress and pretend to remove a pea. Worked every time. :-)
